I highly recommend Oregon Farm and Home Brokers. They are very enthusiastic, friendly, upbeat and knowledgeable. I had to go back to Arizona before I found a home, but they kept looking and communicating with me and shortly after I left they found a wonderful home for me that fit perfectly. The title company was great, better than the one I had in Arizona. There were no hiccups with the process at all.
As soon as I considered selling my inherited home, I contacted OFHB who has been a wealth of information, resources and contacts to help with each step of the way. There were a lot of things that needed to be done to prepare the house to be put on the market, a LOT more than I anticipated, and OFHB walked me through it all. Our experience with Oregon Farm & Home Brokers was phenomenal. Paul and his team...Matilda, Saber, and Paige were all so friendly, and helpful. We were so happy with their knowledge and professionalism. And they were quick to get to work! There was a photographer there to take pictures (even using a drone!) almost immediately. Our listing went live during the middle of the week. The first weekend they already had a very successful open house arranged. We met Brandi at an open house on a property that turned out was not suitable as we were using a VA Loan and that property was selling "cash / as is". We discussed with Brandi our real estate needs and she listened to all we said, made notes and began reviewing the listings and sending us suggested properties to consider. In February she sent us the property that we ended up viewing and made an offer just before my husband and I returned to Southern California. We went back and forth a bit with the seller and finally had an accepted deal and opened escrow. At that point we began preparing for our move, which included listing our California home for sale. Brandi was available and very responsive throughout the buying process. We moved to Salem the last week of February and took possession of our new home. We're still unpacking boxes and discovering all we need to know about this new "old" house for it to become our new home and income producing property. For this particular transaction I worked closely with Saber Gilbert. She has spent the last few months helping me and my family find a new home. This market was an incredibly hard market to buy in but Saber was always optimistic and helpful. We saw many houses. Her teammates were able to help out with showings if she was unavailable. The whole process was honestly very low stress for what most consider to be one of the most stressful times of your life. I have no doubt that Saber's expertise in the market and area as well as her optimism were our key to getting our home after about 3 months of looking, a feat that seems almost impossible in today's market.
